The MP5xM is a high-end Moving Magnet Phono Cartridge, meticulously designed and handcrafted to exacting standards at Micro-Point in the UK. It is specifically engineered for recording studios and cutting rooms, ensuring accurate sound reproduction with a flat frequency response.
The MP5xM’s body is precision-machined from solid aluminium alloy, delivering exceptional sound quality, precision tracking, and a flat frequency response - key elements for engineering excellence. This is achieved through a high-precision Boron Cantilever and a finely polished Nude Diamond Microridge stylus, ensuring an authentic reproduction of the original recording.
Included with the cartridge are two Micro-Point stainless steel thumb screws, designed to ensure the correct coupling of the cartridge body to the tonearm head-shell. Regular hex screws are also provided.
